Web and Mobile App Developer Required – Apply Now.

Description: Introduction:VMG Software, based in Northern Suburbs of Cape Town are looking to hire two Web and Mobile Application Developers.

Purpose: Web developer required to develop Front-end Web and Mobile applications, including integration with workflow, databases and API’s of remote systems.

You’ll be working with a team of developers, liaising with project managers, business analysts and testers working in an agile software development methodology. You’ll need strong technical skills and the ability to work well in a team, as well as independently analyse and solve problems.

Part of your role will also be the maintenance and updates to the existing infrastructure environment for the products and / or customised client solutions.

Required Skills

JavaScript / Typescript
HTML5, CSS
Basic knowledge in SCSS would be beneficial
Angular v2+
Bootstrap
Mobile development frameworks such as Ionic or NativeScript

Highly Advantageous Skills

Jira
Bitbucket and Git
Web/REST services
UI design principles
Agile development methodologies
Test driven development
Minimum Requirements
At least 2 years development experience required.
Ideally an IT Diploma or related Degree will be an advantage
