DA demanding action on water crisis
The DA is marching to the Water and Sanitation Department on Wednesday morning.
The party will hand over a memorandum of demands to Minister Senzo Mchunu.
The march will be led by Gauteng Premier candidate, Solly Msimanga.
Over the past few months, the DA has been calling on the CEO of Rand Water to be fired.
The party says thousands have signed a petition saying they’ve had enough.
Water supply hiccups have plagued the entire province for quite a while.
Mchunu has been holding meetings with major cities but received pushback in Joburg.
He also visited Hammanskraal and other areas experiencing water supply challenges.
