Warehouse Stock Taker needed Asap: APPLY HERE
Reports to (Position) Stock Take Supervisor Role Summary The Stock Taker is responsible for counting stock accurately and timeously in the warehouse. Accountabilities / Key Performance Areas Taking stock Housekeeping Responsibilities (but not limited to) Receive stock count sheets from the Stock Take Supervisor. Verify inventory data by comparing them to physical counts of stock Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Action and record item bin changes where necessary Count stock items and record data manually Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Housekeeping / maintenance Ancillary Duties Qualifications Matric (Grade 12) Experience Minimum 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Computer Skills Computer skills an advantage Skills: Self motivated Numeric Team Work Safety and Security – Observes safety and security procedures Accurate Able to meet set deadlines Characteristics: Honest Reliable Able to make sound decisions Enthusiastic Positive & Proactive
