A well-established engineering company based on the East Rand requires the above to join their company in the Mining and Minerals Processing industry.

Minimum requirements for the role:

Minimum Matric Certificate.
Minimum of 1-3 years’ experience in a Warehouse environment.
Have a valid Forklift License.
Ability to work under pressure/stress management.
Accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to manage time and be punctual.
Have knowledge of the Mining Industry.
Be adaptable have inter-personal skills.
Must have a technical Aptitude.
Be well-groomed – neat appearance.
Must have knowledge of stock keeping.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

Checking stock and ensuring everything is according to the picking slip.
Ensuring goods are packaged correctly for clients.
Loading and unloading pallets.
Ensuring all goods are loaded on correctly and harnessed in a correct and safe manner.
Following strict procedures and processes dictated by ISO processes and the company’s Engineering procedures.
Picking and packing items in the warehouse timeously and accurately.
Ensuring that the equipment is correctly matched to the item code and delivered to the correct customer/client.
Cleaning the stores on a daily/weekly basis to ensure that stock in the stores is well maintained and easily accessible.
Ad-hoc duties as required from time to time.
