Mzansi plead for a Rosemary Ndlovu biopic with Vutiswa Ndara as lead actress

Tweeps are requesting a Nomia Rosemary Ndlovu biopic and want talented actress, Vatiswa Ndara to play the role of the former police officer.

The former police officer was found guilty of killing her boyfriend, Maurice Mabasa, her cousin, Witness Madala Homu, her sister, Audrey, her nephew, Brilliant Mashego, and the attempted murder of her mother, Maria Mushwana.

Ndlovu killed her relatives to claim hefty life insurance payouts and was sentenced to life in prison and was also found guilty of four counts of fraud.

Ndara is one of the most loved and talented actresses in Mzansi with a career that spans over a decade in the entertainment industry.

Her villainous roles on Mzansi Magic’s, Igazi as NomaRussia and SABC 2’s soapie, Muvhango as Moliehi made her get even more recognised and appreciated by Mzansi.

She appeals to audiences with her raw talent and is one of the most respected actresses in the country.

Dubbed ‘The Queen of Drama,’ Ndara made headlines in 2019 when she went head-to-head with the Fergusons in an open letter that was sent to the Arts and Culture Minister Nathi Mthethwa.

In the letter, Ndara quoted an email from Ferguson Films in which she was offered a contract of R110,000 before tax for a five-week shoot.

Ndara rejected the contract and stated that both the channel and the production house will continue to reap the financial benefits through repeat broadcasts, licensing deals, and repackaging of the show.

She further added that the media houses will continue raking in indomitable figures, long after she has been paid and while she’s not even guaranteed a job after that five-week.

“Perhaps I lack the financial savvy to manage this R82,500 over the next two/three years of possible unemployment.

Tweeps believe the actress was blacklisted and demand her return as she has not appeared on TV since her public feud with Ferguson Films
