The Independent Electoral Commission (IEC) has apologized for the glitches with the Voter Portal.
People trying to register via the system have been experiencing technical issues.
The IEC released a statement, saying its currently experiencing heavy traffic.
Voters have until midnight to register for the November municipal elections.
The commission has urged people to be patient and keep trying.
