Vaccine sites across the Western Cape are running empty, not of vaccine doses but of people.
On a good day, the mega-site at the CTICC administers up to 1,800 COVID-19 doses.
It has the capacity to jab 4,000 people though.
Vaccine hesitancy and the spread of misinformation have been contributing factors to the low figures in recent weeks.
Authorities say religious and community leaders play a crucial role in leading people to vaccine sites.
