Police have launched a manhunt after a 6-year-old Grade R girl was kidnapped outside of Laerskool Kollegepark in Vanderbijlpark, Gauteng, on Monday morning.
According to police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubela, Amy-Lee de Jager was taken by four men in a white Toyota Fortuner.
“We can confirm that the incident happened just after 07:30 in front of the school. We urge anyone who has information about the incident to come forward’, said Makhubela.
The school released a statement on Facebook following the incident, asking people to be on the lookout for the child.
