Ten people have been killed in a crash on the R34 between Vryheid and Ulundi, KwaZulu-Natal. A bakkie and a car happened collided near Lakeside on Tuesday. Three people are in critical condition in the Vryheid hospital.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash, and have not ruled out reckless and negligent driving. KZN Transport MEC, Peggy Nkonyeni has urged motorists to exercise caution and patience on the roads.
