Do you ever wonder what first impression your loved had about you the day y’all met? Well, Katlego doesn’t wonder, he knows! And let’s just say his loved one, Pearl wasn’t quite into him at first.
The couple met in 2013. Katlego’s friend was friends with Pearl’s brother. Katlego thought Pearl was really pretty and liked her style, so he asked her brother for her number, but the brother flatly refused.
When he finally got her number, he texted her, but she wouldn’t entertain him. Katlego needed a plan and fast, so he prayed long and hard that New Year’s Eve with his family. Good things come to those who pray and believe, right? Well, Katlego got his prayer answered several months later.
The day they started dating, Katlego told his mom and she was very excited. The young couple have two children and one of the biggest challenge they’ve had to face was the fact they they’re an inter-racial couple.
Katlego proposed on Pearl’s birthday. They were in the kitchen and it was a complete surprise for her. She started crying as soon as she saw him on one knee and their son cried too because he didn’t understand why his mommy was crying. Ncooh..sweet!
