Hawks to investigate corruption allegations at Tutuka Power Station

The Hawks are investigating fraud and corruption allegations at the Tutuka Power Station in Mpumalanga.

A report, commissioned by Eskom in 2019, points to numerous lapses coupled with alleged crimes.

Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter described it as the utility’s worst-performing station.

He said it was badly affected by corruption.
