In an industry full of shady people, it is always satisfying to see some of our favourite celebrities find ‘real’ and lasting friendships with other people in the entertainment industry.
Over the years, we have seen how fickle celebrity friendships are but sometimes, just sometimes, there are celebrities who defy the odds like Thando Thabethe & Khanya Mkangisa.
The duo has been friends for several years and over time, we have seen the besties stand by each other through good and bad times including the time Thando allegedly broke off her engagement months before her big day.

On Thando’s birthday yesterday, Khanya sent her bestie a sweet message that almost broke the internet, “You’re a queen in every sense of the word. I love you so much. Happy birthday,” she wrote. Take a look at the tweet below:

When Thando was engaged to Frans Mashao, there were rumours that Khanya was set to be one of her bridesmaids proving that the two are super-close.
A couple of days ago, Thando posted a picture of her and her closest friends and captioned it, ‘family’ and Khanya was one of the people in the snap which included Mantsoe Pout and Lunga Shabalala.
