Truck driver injured in roll-over

KwaZulu-Natal: 08H52 Friday morning, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the R103 in uMgungundlovu near Pietermaritzburg. Reports indicate that the driver of a truck transporting cinder-blocks lost control, resulting in a roll-over.

Medics assessed the scene and found that the driver, a 25-year-old adult male, had sustained moderate injuries and was stabilised by an advanced life support paramedic.

The patient was treated on scene before being transported to hospital for further care.
