Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula says Prasa will resume the Metrorail commuter services on 1 July. Mbalula briefed the media on advanced level 3 COVID-19 lockdown regulations and directives related to transport.
“Metrorail services are projected to resume on 1 July, subject to stringent safety measures being implemented.
The COVID-19 pandemic has worsened Prasa’s financial position, resulting in further cash constraints on an already strained financial situation,” said Mbalula.
