We’ll keep you abreast of all the news from our correspondents, and the talking points and rumours from the rest of Europe.

Arthur told Barca and Juve ‘are on same level’

Barcelona midfielder Arthur has been told that he would not be taking a step down by joining Juventus. The Brazilian moved to rubbish reports linking him with the Serie A club earlier this week, but his former Gremio boss says The Old Lady are operating on a similar level to his current employers.

“I think Barcelona and Juventus are two great clubs on the world stage, representing the very top in their nations and are always in the running for the biggest trophies,” Renato Portaluppi told Goal.

“They are on the same level, have the same greatness and pedigree. “If I could count on Arthur, I’d never want to sell him. Unfortunately, Gremio were forced to sell because the money offered could not be turned down.”

Betis keen on Silva

El Correo claim that LaLiga side Real Betis are keen on signing David Silva on a free transfer this summer.

The Spaniard will leave Man City when his deal expires but has yet to confirm his next steps, with reports suggesting he has several offers from the MLS.

Lingard linked with United exit

Manchester United midfielder Jesse Linard has been linked with a trio of Premier League clubs amid suggestions he could leave Old Trafford this summer.

The England international has not been a regular started this season and his position is unlikely to improve once the transfer window opens, with Jack Grealish and Jadon Sancho among United’s targets in attacking midfield and forward positions.

90min.com claim that Newcastle United, Leicester City and West Ham are all tracking the situation.
