Mzansi Magic Sundays will never be the same again with The Republic taking over the 20:00 slot. A gripping story following President Mulaudzi, South Africa’s first democratically elected woman president in the story, and her quest to fight corruption and fulfil the promises she has made to her people.
Fighting the good fight is not easy and in the first episode we saw President Mulaudzi kidnapped by rebels in Soshanguve. A coup in Mzansi? Que drama, action, twists and turns, deal cutting and pseudo political reality like you’ve never seen before.
Will President Mulaudzi be saved after her tight security was infiltrated? Who will come to her rescue? Will Thabang be able to save the president and his wife, Bridget? Will the coup spread to the rest of the country?
Mzansi peeps are already hooked on the epic drama and we can promise KUSAZOBA LIT! Here is everything you love so far:
Continuing local story-telling, Mzansi Magic will debut a new drama series The Republic tonight.
