Load shedding move to Stage 2 on Thursday evening

Eskom CEO Andre de Ruyter says blackouts might be lifted entirely for the weekend, depending on how the system performs.

He gave an update on the power utility’s generation capacity on Thursday morning.

South Africa is currently on Stage 3 of the blackouts which De Ruyter says will be changed to Stage 2 on Thursday evening.
