Minister Nxesi accuses DA of being anti-transformation over EE Act

Labour Minister Thulas Nxesi has lashed at the Democratic Alliance for demonstrating against reforms to Employment Equity laws.

The Blue Party took to the streets of Cape Town yesterday in protest.

The changes give the government the power to set sector-specific equity quotas.

The DA says this is a move to extend cadre deployment into the private sector.

But, the government says the criticism shows the DA has not embraced transformation.
