At 16H57 Tuesday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on the corners of Foxtrot Stree and Delmas Road near the Rietfontein Nature Reserve near Pretoria.
Reports from the scene indicate that two light motor vehicles were involved in a collision.
Paramedics found that three females, a minor and two adults sustained moderate injuries in the crash.
The patients had sustained injuries ranging from moderate to serious and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilise them.
Once treated all the patients were transported by various ambulance services to hospital for further treatment. All necessary authorities were on the scene.
