A vacancy exists for a Registered Nurse –Theatre Qualified, based at Main Theatre (Orthopedic Theatres) at Pretoria Hospital, reporting to Theatre Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the surgical team to perform surgical procedures on patients successfully and to ensure that the patient receives optimal care in accordance with company and hospital strategic objectives.
Candidate Requirements
Grade 12.
General Nursing Degree / Diploma.
Registration with SANC.
Post basic qualification in Medical and Surgical Nursing Science.
Relevant experience and technical skill to meet the critical outputs of perioperative care.
Understanding of the private healthcare industry, its challenges and role players would be an advantage.
Computer proficiency would be an advantage.
Availability to be flexible in operational work hours required and to do call according to the needs of the unit.
