Thando Thabethe denies she is back with her ex-fiancé
Thando Thabethe says she did not rekindle her romance with businessman Frans Mashao.
Move! magazine reported a few months ago that Thando and her ex-fiancé Frans “secretly” got back together.
“Thando went back to Frans asking for forgiveness,” a source told the magazine.
The mole, who claimed the 5FM presenter practically begged the businessman to take her back, added that the lovers did not want the public to know about their on-again relationship.
“They have opted to keep their reunion under wraps as they have learned the hard way about exposing their relationship to the world.”
“We’re absolutely not back together. That experience made me realise I’m stronger than I think I am.
“I look back at it and marvel at how I overcame it. I went through it, I overcame it and I’m out of it,” she told the publication.
Thando called off their engagement in 2018 – less than a year after he popped the question with a huge diamond ring.
She admits the split was hard, but has “no regrets about the relationship”.
The 28-year-old says she has not given up finding Mr. Right.
“I still believe in love. I’d love to find love again – I still want a happy-ever-after. I hope to fall in love harder, but it all depends on the person I meet,” she told W24.
