Accountant Needed – Apply:

Our client in Tokai is looking for an Accountant to manage their books for their corporation. The perfect applicant needs to know the in’s and out’s of finance and accounting.

Responsibilities:

• Purchasing through ERP
• Invoicing through ERP
• Cashbooks
• Petty Cash
• Manufacturing
• Stock taking
• Payroll processing
• Payroll new employees, terminations, procedures
• Process Journals for depreciation, stock variances, amortization
• Analyse results
• Produce monthly reports in required formats
• Produce VAT reports
• Produce EMP 501 and reconcile Payroll
• Create recipes in ERP and alter as required
• Adhoc reporting on sales and Inventory
• Assist with debt collection and management
• Manage intercompany recharges
• Perform ALL processing for stock, suppliers, customers, cashbooks
• Full accounting function
• Payroll for employees
• Manage multiple store environment
• Reconcile intercompany accounts
• VAT reports
• Payroll reconciliation
• Reporting to Belgium as required Annual Tasks

• Budget and forecast exercise
• Audit preparation and assistance in supplying information to Auditors

Key Competencies and Qualifications:

• Matric is essential
• BCom Accounting degree or a relevant/ equivalent qualification
• Must have completed the articles 5yrs SAIPA and SAICA
• MS office is essential
• Previous working experience in a similar role of at least 5 years
• Previous experience on Accounting systems will be advantageous

Salary: R18,000 – R25,000pm
