Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Technical Writer.

Experience and Qualifications:

Matric
Relevant degree relating to information technology/computer science advantageous

The successful applicant must:

Have strong attention to detail and accuracy
Have strong planning, organising and time management skills
Have strong IT related technical knowledge and understanding
Be able to work independently as well as be a team player
Be ability to multi-task effectively
Have strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

General

Analyze the needs to the target audience
Create relevant and required technical documentation and diagrams including but not limited to overall system documents, user manuals, installation manuals, and training materials
Engage with developers and clients

Specific Skills (Technical):

Minimum 2 years experience in a technical environment
Understand IT technical terms and jargon
Ms Word
Visio, Robohelp, and Helpstudio advantageous
