Taxi and bakkie collide leaving multiple injured. Midlands EMS received multiple calls for a motor vehicle accident In Thornville just after 13:00.
Upon arrival, it was found that a taxi and a bakkie had been involved in an accident and both of them rolled down an embankment.
Multiple patients sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical including an 18month child that was airlifted to the hospital via Netcare 911 Air ambulance.
All patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further care.
The exact cause of the accident is under investigation by local authorities
