Business travellers can once again take to the skies under Level 3 of the lockdown. Domestic flights have been given the all-clear and are being allowed to fly between OR Tambo, King Shaka, Cape Town and Lanseria International Airports. Transport Minister Fikile Mbalula said strict restrictions will guide the number of flights per day based on the reason for travel.

OR Tambo International Airport General Manager Bongiwe Pityi-Vokwana said it’s important for passengers to know that “we are now in a new normal”.

Airports have put measures in place as well as the airlines. An air filter is also in place to kill bacteria & any virus. pic.twitter.com/gB0kSZpCNj
