SuperSport United took another positive step towards qualifying for next season’s CAF Champions League. SuperSport hosted AmaZulu at the TUT Stadium in Tshwane. The hosts had an early goal to celebrate. Thapelo Maseko tried hard to fluff his lines but he eventually found the net.
SuperSport United doubled their advantage after the hour mark. Lunga Ghampani slotted home from close range. AmaZulu pulled one back but SuperSport held on to win 2-1.
Matsatsantsa are back in second spot, a point above Orlando Pirates. AmaZulu are three points above the drop zone.
