Woman critical after being struck down by car

Gauteng: At 09H06 Sunday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a collision on Park Street in Sunnyside Pretoria.

Reports from the scene indicate that a pedestrian was struck down by a car while crossing the road.

Medics assessed the scene and found that the patient an adult female had sustained critical injuries and required Advanced Life Support intervention to stabilize her.

Once treated the patient was transported by ambulance to the hospital for further treatment.
