President Cyril Ramaphosa will address the nation on Saturday evening on the strategy to manage the spread of COVID-19.
The President’s address follows a meeting earlier this week of the National Coronavirus Command Council and meetings on Saturday of the President’s Coordinating Council and Cabinet.
It has been five months since the coronavirus pandemic was declared a national disaster.
The Minister of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs Nkosazana Dlamini Zuma, has extended the national state of disaster from 15 August 2020 to 15 September 2020.
