Eskom implements Stage 4 blackouts
Eskom has announced that it will be implementing Stage 4 power cuts from 5 pm to 10 pm.
The utility said this is due to further loss in generating capacity.
Unit 2 at the Kusile Power Station tripped, taking 720MW off the grid.
Eskom said in a statement that it will continue to closely monitor the system, adjust and communicate any changes as may be necessary.
