Springboks in Kolisi’s hometown for #RWC2019 trophy tour

The Springboks’ Rugby World Cup trophy tour is in Port Elizabeth on Sunday.

The Boks have been receiving messages of love and support as they parade around the country.

This morning the team is in Captain Siya Kolisi’s hometown.

They will end the tour on Monday in Cape Town. The Springboks tour bus went through Mdantsane in the Eastern Cape with the Webb Ellis trophy on Saturday morning.

Mdantsane is the hometown of Makazole Mapimpi who fast became a favourite when he scored the Boks’ first try at the Rugby World Cup final in Yokohama, Japan, last Friday.

Supporters cheered, while others stood on the roofs on their cars just to catch a glimpse of the much loved Mapimpi and his teammates.
