Western Cape: At 17H39 Friday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the corners of Botfontein and Bottelary Road in Kraaifontein, Cape Town.
Reports indicate that a pedestrian had been struck down by a speeding car.
Medics assessed the scene and found a 10-year-old female who had sustained critical injuries.
On scene was the fire and rescue services, as well as metro ambulance services and law enforcement.
The patient was treated on scene by paramedics and once stabilised was transported by ambulance to hospital for further care.
