Uber Eats South Africa has canceled some of its services in Soweto as of 31 August 2022.
The food delivery services say through their investigations and feedback from delivery drivers.
Some areas pose an imminent threat to the safety of the delivery people.

Singer Moneoa Moshesh was allegedly detained and held against her will for 2 hours by the SAPS. During the 2 hours, she was apparently asked to delete her Instagram videos, this is according to City Press.
Moneoa clarified that she was not arrested at the Sandton Police Station, but was rather asked to delete the videos where she details her alleged abuse. Learn more
