Update on body parts found in Soweto home

A forensic investigation is underway after human remains were found in a fridge at a house in Protea Glen in Soweto.

A woman visiting her partner stumbled upon body parts when she was looking for something to eat in the fridge.

The man has since been arrested.

It’s understood the suspect tried to commit suicide upon arrest.

Gauteng Police Commissioner Elias Mawela says the 24-year-old suspect will face murder charges.
