#RIPSongezoMjongile – ANC official Songezo Mjongile has died
Former Western Cape ANC provincial secretary Songezo Mjongile has died.
In a statement, the ANC says he died at his family home in Johannesburg.
Mjongile made headlines in 2013 when the Western Cape High Court ordered him to repay around R350,000 he received from the late mining magnate Brett Kebble.
He recently announced on social media that he had been diagnosed with colon cancer.
