This past weekend, the streets of social media were set ablaze by two of South Africa’s finest award winning musicians, Lady Zamar and Sjava. News of the break down of their almost two year relationship were probably on every entertainment news site, as many simply could not believe that these two successfully managed to keep their relationship under wraps for that long.
Soon after the news broke, Sjava then tweeted that he is set to release new music on Wednesday. This move from the Ngempela hitmaker, kept his legions of fans right on the edges of their seats as some speculated whether he had truly broken up with Zamar or would the music be about the break down of their relationship.
Earlier today, a video of Sjava and Lady Zamar resurfaced on the internet, which has left some wondering if this is the song that Sjava had promised to release today.
In the video, it seemed like the two had been casually jamming to some sort of a collaborative song, which tells a story of love and mistrust in relationships. Sjava then starts looking back at Zamar, who is standing right behind him. Zamar is seen shyly giggling as they clearly share in a special moment.

Sjava tweeted that he is set to release a banger of a song on Wednesday. This created excitement galore.

During the past weekend, Lady Zamar confirmed on her Twitter page that indeed they dated for a whole two years and decided to call things off in March 2019. She posted the following on Twitter:
”Yeah we dated from June 2017 and ended things March 2019… That’s all so y’all can stop with the questions..Yes he denied it to the media but that’s coz we wanted it to be a private thing… Cats out the bag I guess.. such a pity it had to come out this way. Please don’t @ me.”
One could never tell which song will Sjava actually release from his highly acclaimed sophomore album, Umqhele. Some staunch fans took wild guesses, stating that it is highly possible that Sjava could release a hearbreaking song called, Eweni or Angik’deli, which seem to be very appropriate during this tough time for Sjava.
We are guessing that, we might have to wait for the BET award winning musician to lay down the surprise for us with another one of his sizzling songs. Whether it might be fresh and never been heard of content or a pick from his newly released album, Umqhele – that we do not know but can only wait.
