Sizwe Dhlomo in trouble on twitter with his offensive Statement on Coronavirus

The outbreak of COVID-19 in South Africa saw many people playing the blame game and pointing fingers. It was reported by various mainstream media outlets that the first patient to test positive was part of a group of 10 people who came back from a trip in Italy.

Even though identities of the people were not revealed, Mzansi had already concluded that it may have been white people. ZAlebs have been engaging in this topic extensively and some made it racial and associated the spread with classism.

Ntsiki Mazwai made a light joke and warned her followers to stay away from white people. Now, Sizwe Dhlomo has also voiced out his opinion and blamed the rich people for bringing the virus into our shores. Out of concern, he blamed them for travelling during an outbreak and returning home to infect the poor who are not as privileged as that class is.

“The sad thing about it is in SA, it was the rich people who brought this virus to those who are now going to suffer the ramifications the most,” he tweeted. Followers agreed with Sizwe as they say he called a spade a spade . This is a genuine concern for many celebrities much like Sizwe, whose hearts break for the poor who have little or no access to clean water, proper healthcare facilities and who commute by taxis and trains every day to work.
