Siblings in AKA/Tibz murder case back in eSwatini court

The extradition application for two siblings accused of being involved in the murder of South African rapper Kiernan “AKA” Forbes and his friend Tebello “Tibz” Motsoane, is expected to resume on Monday at the Manzini Magistrate’s Court in eSwatini.
Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande were arrested at a house they were renting in Mbabane early this year. The pair previously abandoned their application to be furnished with contents of the murder case docket.
Meanwhile, in May, the South Africans accused of killing Aka and Tibz were denied bail at the Durban Magistrate’s Court. The accused were arrested just over a year after the assassination of the prominent musician and his friend.
Handing down the judgement, Magistrate Vincent Hlatshwayo said it is in the interest of justice not to grant bail to the accused saying the evidence before court indicates that they have a case to answer.
