
KwaZulu-Natal: At 12H13 Thursday afternoon, Netcare 911 responded to a shooting on Greyling Street in the Pietermaritzburg Central Business District.
Reports allege that an armed adult male approached another adult male subcontractor standing at the gate of the business premises and an argument broke out.
The armed male produced a 9mm handgun and opened fire on the subcontractor.
On the scene with Netcare 911 was the SAPS, SAPS Mounted Unit, and Crime Intelligence.
When medics arrived on the scene, they found the adult male lying in a pool of blood in front of the premises.
The 49-year-old man had sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body and showed no signs of life.
The victim was sadly declared deceased on the scene.
Circumstances leading up to the scene will be investigated by the Loop Street SAPS.

A warrant of arrest has been issued for Royal AM FC chairman Andile Mpisane. This comes after he allegedly violated an interim protection order.
