At 10H31 Netcare 911 responded to reports of a structural fire on Canary Avenue in Horizon view Roodepoort.
Reports from the scene indicate that a storeroom on a property near a school had caught alight.
The Krugersdorp and Johannesburg fire services worked to extinguish the flames.
Fortunately, no injuries were reported.
Circumstances leading up to the fire will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
