Award-winning rapper Linda ‘ProKid’ Mkhize dies after severe seizure attack

Award-winning rapper Linda ‘ProKid’ Mkhize has died.
The 37-year-old hip hop artist suffered a severe seizure on Wednesday night.
It’s believed Mkhize was visiting friends when he collapsed and died.
The Soweto-born artist is known for rapping in a mixture of vernacular and English.
Fellow artists and fans have taken to social media to pay tribute to the artist.
Absolutely gutted about the death of Prokid, Linda Mkhize, at 37. Diminutive in stature but a giant of South African hip hop. One of the first artists I interviewed, back in the day, who helped me realise the power of the culture in a local setting and of lyrics in vernac(ular). pic.twitter.com/F5GIZu9VJ5

Our very own Eminem. Ask any rapper. No one. Absolutely no one wanted this type of smoke. He was the best there ever was, the best there ever will be. I’m blessed to have called you a brother. You will forever live in my heart and headphones ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ pic.twitter.com/B9wBCi5LZi
