Receiving/Security Manager wanted urgently: APPLY HERE

Multi-Award Winning Nursery-Stodels is looking for a dynamic and physically fit Receiving/Security Manager at the Bergvliet Garden Centre. The position will report directly to the Branch Manager.
Responsibilities:
To be responsible and accountable for the security of buildings and all the saleable and non-saleable assets within Branch
Supervise security/receiving staff of the branch
Check-in deliveries and check discrepancies between delivery note, purchase order and physical stock – and make claims out accordingly
Check price changes and re-labeling of products accordingly
Weekly checks on the stock in transit report (internal transfers) and weekly stock takes
Checking and verifying all stock leaving the branch
Responsible for security of buildings (setting burglar alarms, parking security, locking up in the evening and checking the fences/perimeters are intact)
Write-off checks
Security checklist to be completed
Check all refunds
Managing the cash box and cash safe
Daily locker, vehicle and staff searches
Perform any other tasks as required by Senior Management to ensure the continued smooth operation of the company and to meet the company’s aim of high standards and high customer service.
Requirements:
3 years of experience in Retail receiving
Supervisory experience
Reliable and honest
Confident
Excellent attention to detail
Computer literate (intermediate MS Excel)
Must be self-motivated and assertive and professional
Must be organized, efficient, with strong communication skills on all levels
Willingness to work weekends and public holidays
Vigilant and alert
High energy levels
Clear credit and criminal history
Own transport is required
