KwaZulu-Natal: At 10H05 Friday morning Netcare 911 responded to a collision on the N3 below the New England Road Bridge in Scottsville Pietermaritzburg.
Reports indicate that two vehicles were involved in a collision.
Medics found that one person had sustained serious injuries and another had sustained moderate injuries.
The patients were treated on scene by advanced life support paramedics while the fire and rescue services used hydraulic tools to free the injured.
Once stabilized all the patients were transported to the hospital for further care.
