Sales

Handle all sales-related enquiries when Sales & Marketing Manager and Sales Manager are not in the office/available
Knowledge of markets, agents and trends in the markets
Sending out of STO rates and keeping track of all signed agreements
Market analysis-competitor research
Keeping track of database for sales and update CRM system
Co-ordinate FAM trips for clients and do follow-ups for bookings.
Marketing

Assist in development and implementation of product promotions, specials and packages in conjunction with Marketing Manager.
Liaise closely with the Marketing Manager for development of promotions and trends
Assist in newsletters writing and send out to direct and trade database.
Plan trade shows, stand design if necessary and assist in setting up meetings.
Web maintenance, updates and statistical analysis.
Proactively manage and plan ahead Azura’s social media, including Facebook updates, the website, TripAdvisor, Twitter, Instagram etc.
Increase database via social media and online promotions, working together with the Marketing Manager and Direct Sales consultant.
Maintain Azura Retreats information on clients’ websites, affiliations and respond on requests for marketing information from clients.
Monthly reports on website analysis, social media analysis and Wetu (online brochures) analysis.
Liaise with the printer on the printing of all materials.
Public Relations

Provide strategic input into the PR strategy.
Provide PR agencies with information for press releases and publicity purposes.
Co-ordinate press trips and follow up.
Keep track of media monitoring services to gauge the success of PR campaigns and media coverage via reports from PR agencies.

Required Qualifications

Min of 2 years’ sales, marketing and social media experience
Administration skills, including strong Microsoft Office skills
Skills

Good planning and organisational skills
Creative writing skills, excellent written English
Problem-solvingand decision-making skills
Good oral and written communication skills
Confidentiality
People skills; tact and discretion when dealing with people
Patient, good at listening and able to make sound judgements
Work well under pressure
Awareness and understanding of a variety of cultures
Adheres to the highest ethical and business standards
Maintain good relations with guests, staff and other departments
To ensure that appearance and personal behaviour are at all times in accordance with the representation of the Hotel
