Makro is searching for a Sales Manager- Gen Merchandise that is HUNGRY, HUMBLE, ENGAGED, AND SMART AND FOLLOWS THROUGH.

Main Purpose of the job: Coordinate and manage all sales activities to achieve turnover budget by driving sales and performance. Key Performance areas:

• Control and manage expenses

• Merchandising Standards

• Housekeeping

• Stock Management

• Shrinkage

• Seek new business opportunities

• Staff Management

• Health and Safety requirements

• People Management

Minimum Academic Requirements, Professional Qualifications, and Experience:

• For appointment to this managerial level you will have to successfully have completed the Makro Retail Management Development Programme.

• Or

• Have the relevant and recognized tertiary qualification (at Diploma or Degree level)

• Or

• 3-5 years management experience in similar environment
