REQUIREMENTS:
Matric certificate
OWN TRANSPORT WITH DRIVERS LICENCE
3 Years sales experience
Work hours:
Retail hours – 8:30 – 17:00 – Weekdays
– 8:30 – 16:00 – Saturdays and Public holidays
– 8:30 – 14:00 – Sundays
DUTIES:
To maximize sales and profitability
To assist and encourage customers in finding and purchasing the required merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
Greet and attend to walk-in customers and telephonic enquiries promptly and efficiently ensuring all customers are treated the same
Maintain positive body language and eye contact
Maintain personal appearance in line with dress code
requirements
Represent the company by giving informed information and recommendations of products in the store as well as incoming stock
Describe merchandise and provide information about warranties, manufacturing specifications, care and maintenance of merchandise and delivery options
Provide customer service by ensuring orders and quotations are processed speedily and accurately
Follow up on quotes
Follow up with the customer after the delivery has taken place to ensure customer satisfaction
Ensure queries are handled efficiently and resolved within specific time frames
Manage the running of the showroom floor in an efficient and professional manner ensuring it is in a neat and tidy condition at all times
Ensure that the company policies and procedures are adhered to and consistently applied at all times
Inventory of stock and requisition of new stock in a timely manner
Ensure pricing, stock presentation/displays, positioning and efficient training on product knowledge of merchandise on the sales floor
