SPECIFICATION

A fashion boutique in Pretoria is looking for a Sales Associate.

RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

• Greet customers, respond to their questions

• Direct customers to merchandise within the store

• Operate cash registers, manage financial transactions and balance drawers

• Maintain an orderly appearance throughout the sales floor and presentation of products, signage and displays

• Render excellent and quality customer service and after-sales follow-ups

• Possess a superior brand and product knowledge

• Introduce promotions and opportunities to customers

• Communicate with clients to promote home and office visits, introduce new arrivals and promotions

• Increase instore sales and achieve agreed performance targets, through

• Optimizing all sales opportunities

• Effectively implementing store sales strategies

• Promoting ready-to-wear and custom-made special orders

• Cross-selling products to increase transaction values

• Maintain various store registers, databases and client profiles

• Participate is stock management

• Ensure thorough understanding of and adherence to GG’s shop policies and procedures

SKILLS & QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• Possess a matric certificate or above

• Retail sales experience in boutique space

• Excellent styling skills

• Computer efficiency

• Possess a valid SA driver’s license

PERSONAL COMPETENCIES:

• Professional appearance and grooming

• Excellent communication skills

• Positive outlook and passion for fashion

• Plus size (i.e., wear size 38 or above)

• Pay attention to detail

• Proactive

Working hours:

Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm

Sat & Holidays: 9am-3pm

Sun: Shop closed, except by appointment

Salary: R6,200 per month
