Contract

Duties:

Liaise with the Project Manager and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery;
Prepares strategies, develops internal policies and operational procedures;
Leads in-house training with managers and employees for health and safety issues and environmental risks;
Conducting regular site inspections to check that policies and procedures are being properly implemented, documenting findings and making recommendations and/or changes to working practices to increase safety and compliance with legislation;
Keeping records of incidents and accidents and producing statistics for management;
Keeping up to date with new legislation and any other developments that may affect the industry;
Managing and organizing the safe disposal of hazardous substances, e.g. asbestos, etc.
Compiling of safety files including, risk assessment, method statements, and fall protection plan.
Advising on a range of specialist areas, e.g.fire regulations, hazardous substances, noise, safeguarding machinery and occupational diseases.
Ensure overall compliance to Health and Safety18001, as well as Environment 14001:2015

Requirements

Diploma/Certificate in Safety Management, Health and Environmental or any other relevant qualification
2-5 Year’s experience in SAMTRAC with Rope Access background knowledge
Computer Literate
Good Communication Skills Verbal and Written
Able to work under pressure
