The SABC’s reporting of an attempted assassination on the broadcaster’s audit executive, Thami Zikode. The public broadcaster says he was followed home from Auckland Park last night.
Zikode is unharmed after surviving the “attempted hit on his life”. The motive for the attack is not yet known, but it’s understood Zikode may have ruffled some feathers.
He’s currently working on a forensic investigation into fraud at the cash-strapped broadcaster.
