SA moves to level 3 Lockdown with immediate effect

Cabinet has decided to put the country on an adjusted Level 3 from Level 1 with immediate effect.

President Cyril Ramaphosa addresses the nation providing updates on South Africa’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic.

On the recommendation of the National Coronavirus Command Council, and after consultation with provinces and metro mayors.

Over a million people have tested positive for COVID-19 in South Africa. Ramaphosa has been meeting the National Coronavirus  Command Council over the last two days.
