Ronald Lamola & NPA head to UAE to try to extradite Guptas

Justice Minister, Ronald Lamola, is expected to respond to reports that he will lead a delegation to the United Arab Emirates.

It’s been reported the trip is to convince authorities there to extradite the controversial Gupta brothers.

The Sunday Times says Lamola will be joined by among others NPA head, Shamila Batohi, and Public Service and Administration Minister Senzo Mchunu.

Should the delegation achieve its mission, the Gupta brothers would face a criminal trial in the country.

Ajay Gupta, Atul Gupta, and Rajesh Gupta, who had close ties with former President Jacob Zuma, have been implicated in milking the country of millions of rands.
